Vertaview Group is seeking a proactive Facilities Coordinator to support a diverse portfolio of around 150 residential and commercial properties, primarily from our Brisbane CBD office with occasional travel to Eight Mile Plains and other sites. Job description

Vertaview Group is seeking a proactive and organised Facilities Coordinator to join our property team, supporting a diverse portfolio of approximately 150 residential and commercial properties. Based primarily in our Brisbane CBD office, with occasional travel to Eight Mile Plains and other sites, you’ll play a key role in maintaining safe, functional and welcoming environments through effective facilities coordination, contractor management and maintenance delivery.

Working within a collaborative team, you’ll coordinate reactive and planned maintenance, manage contractors and work orders, conduct property inspections, support fit outs, refurbishments and improvement projects, and engage with residents, customers and internal stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong relationships, solving problems and taking ownership of projects, while thriving in a fast‑paced environment where no two days are the same.

As Facilities Coordinator, you will:

• Coordinate reactive and preventative maintenance, ensuring timely issue resolution
• Manage contractors and service providers, overseeing quality, performance and delivery
• Conduct property inspections to identify maintenance, safety and improvement opportunities
• Support fit‑outs, refurbishments, planned works and end‑to‑end project coordination
• Maintain compliance, WHS standards, work order systems, reporting and stakeholder relationships across the portfolio

What you’ll bring

We’re interested in people who are organised, resourceful and enjoy coordinating projects and solving problems.

You might already be working in facilities management, commercial property, construction, building services, project administration or a related field. Equally, you may have developed valuable experience in another industry that translates well into this role.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Experience coordinating maintenance, contractors, property works or projects
• Interest in commercial property, fit‑outs, refurbishments and building improvements
• Strong ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines and multiple activities
• Confident communicator with contractors, stakeholders and senior leaders
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented, tech‑savvy and committed to safe, compliant outcomes with a proactive, solutions‑focused approach

The practical requirements

• A formal facilities management qualification is welcome but not essential.
• Paid Working with Children Check (Blue Card), or willingness to obtain.
• Paid NDIS Workers Screening Clearance (Yellow Card), or willingness to obtain.
• Full Australian working rights.
