Job summary

Ventia in South Australia is seeking a proactive Facility & Asset Manager to support facilities management across a portfolio of government sites. You will oversee maintenance programs, manage stakeholder and contractor relationships, and ensure asset compliance.

This role combines operational delivery with project management, site inspections, and customer engagement. A strong background in facilities or asset management, plus excellent communication and administration skills, is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in Facilities Management or related field.
• Strong stakeholder and contractor management skills.
• Experience managing maintenance programs and service delivery.
• Project management experience in facilities or asset environments.
• Excellent administration and computer skills.
• Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage planned, preventative and reactive maintenance activities.
• Conduct site inspections and oversee asset compliance requirements.
• Coordinate and monitor subcontractor performance.
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders.
• Manage minor works projects from scope development through to completion.
• Ensure safety, quality and contractual obligations are met.
• Identify risks and implement effective solutions.
