Job summary

Buildability Group Professional Roles – Melbourne VIC is seeking an experienced Facilities Account Manager to take ownership of a national FM portfolio from their Melbourne CBD office.

The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract with a salary of $110,000–$125,000 per year. You will manage key client relationships, drive service excellence and monitor contract performance across SLAs and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience within the Facilities Management industry.
• Previous experience managing FM contracts, client accounts or service delivery portfolios.
• Strong understanding of Facilities Maintenance operations and service delivery.
• Experience managing SLAs, KPIs and contractual obligations.
• Strong commercial understanding including budgets, expenditure and cost efficiencies.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
• Strong reporting, analytical and problem-solving capability.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with clients and internal teams.
• A proactive, professional and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Managing and strengthening key client relationships across a national Facilities Maintenance portfolio
• Acting as the primary escalation point for contractual, operational and service-related matters
• Managing contract performance against SLAs, KPIs and agreed service commitments
• Preparing and presenting monthly client reports covering financial and operational performance
• Managing client budgets, expenditure and cost efficiencies
• Supporting invoicing processes and resolving financial discrepancies
• Working closely with internal Service Delivery teams to ensure contractual obligations are achieved
• Leading and supporting operational teams to deliver agreed outcomes
• Monitoring compliance, safety and risk requirements across client engagements
• Supporting asset reporting, maintenance planning and improvement initiatives
• Identifying opportunities to improve service delivery, processes and customer experience
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives across the account

A leading Facilities Management organisation is seeking an experienced Facilities Account Manager to join their Melbourne CBD team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Facilities Management professional who enjoys managing key client relationships, driving service excellence and taking ownership of contract performance across a national Facilities Maintenance portfolio.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring contractual commitments are delivered, operational performance is maintained and clients receive exceptional service outcomes.

About the Role

Based in the Melbourne CBD office, this is a hands-on account management position with occasional travel required.
