Job summary

Eifer seeks a façade design professional to bridge design intent with buildable outcomes in Canberra or Sydney. You will work across design, documentation, coordination and construction, collaborating with architects, engineers, fabricators, project teams and clients to turn concepts into ready‑to‑construct solutions.

The role suits a designer with façade, architectural, or construction documentation experience who enjoys problem solving and detail work; Revit experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in architecture, engineering, or related field.
• Strong Revit proficiency and AutoCAD experience; Rhino/Grasshopper bonus.

Responsibilities

• Designing and engineering glazed, cladding, and bespoke façade systems.
• Developing system concepts from architectural intent through to buildability.
• Coordinating with architects, structural engineers, builders, and certifiers.
• Producing detailed design and construction documentation.
• Researching materials, products, and emerging systems.
• Reviewing fabrication drawings and attending factory and site inspections.

Job description

We’re looking for someone who understands that great façade design doesn’t stop at the drawing board. You’ll work across design, documentation, coordination, and construction, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, fabricators, project teams, and clients to turn design intent into buildable outcomes.

At Eifer, our design team works closely with the people who fabricate and install what we design. That connection gives you the opportunity to develop practical, technically resolved façade solutions and see your work through from design to construction.

The role will suit a designer with experience in façade, architectural or construction documentation who enjoys problem solving, collaboration and getting into the detail. Revit experience preferred.

Full-time | Canberra or Sydney

You’ll work across the full project lifecycle from early contractor engagement and concept design through to detailed documentation, shop drawing review, mock-up testing, and site inspections. No two projects are the same, and no day is just one thing.
