Job summary

Sacyr Vallehermoso Participaciones Mobiliarias SL is seeking a Design Manager – Façades to lead the façade design process from concept to construction. You will collaborate with the Project Director and design team to ensure delivery aligns with objectives, compliance, and value.

The role requires a minimum of five years in a Design Manager position, an architecture qualification, and strong coordination across disciplines to achieve high-quality outcomes for Australian projects.

Qualifications

• Five+ years as a Design Manager or similar role.
• Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• Spanish language skills are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the façade design development from concept through to construction, ensuring alignment with scope, programme, budget, and contractual obligations.
• Manage and coordinate façade consultants, specialist designers, and subcontractors in delivering detailed design documentation.
• Coordinate with structural, architectural, and MEP teams to resolve design clashes and ensure buildability.
• Act as the interface between Design and Delivery Teams, communicating façade design intent, risks, and changes.
• Lead façade-focused design reviews, workshops, and value engineering to balance performance and cost.
