van der Meer Consulting in Sydney is seeking a Senior Façade Engineer to lead façade design from concept through construction. You will coordinate with clients, architects and contractors to deliver robust glazing and cladding solutions that meet performance and compliance requirements.

The role requires extensive experience (about 10 years) with various façade types and systems, plus strong reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in façade engineering design and modelling.
• Knowledge of curtain wall, cladding and waterproofing systems.
• Capability to liaise with clients and lead project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Facade engineering design and modelling, including thermal and weather performance.
• Condensation modelling and façade specifications.
• Prepare façade engineering reports and waterproofing detailing.
• Structural analysis of facade elements and related systems.
• Develop client and contractor relationships and guide stakeholders through design requirements.
