Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret workshop drawings and specs.
• Perform MIG, TIG and Stick welding as required.
• Operate fabrication equipment and hand tools.

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Fabricator / Boilermaker to join a busy and growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a well established business delivering high quality fabrication and maintenance services across a range of industries.

Based in Townsville, this role offers a mix of workshop and site based work, providing variety and long term opportunities for skilled tradespeople.

Key Responsibilities

• Fabrication and assembly of structural steel and components
• Read and interpret workshop drawings and specifications
• Perform MIG, TIG and Stick welding as required
• Operate fabrication equipment and hand tools
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety
• Comply with workplace procedures, WHS requirements and quality standards

About You

• Trade qualified Fabricator / Boilermaker
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Strong fabrication and welding skills
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
