Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble and weld structural steel components in accordance with drawings and specifications.
• Perform MIG welding and other welding processes to Australian Standards.
• Prepare materials for fabrication, including marking out, measuring and cutting.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and welding procedures.
• Conduct welding inspections and quality checks for structural integrity.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.
• Work with production, QA and supervisory staff to meet schedules.
• Identify and report faults and opportunities for process improvement.

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Boilermaker/Fabricator to join their established manufacturing team. Key Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble and weld structural steel components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.

• Perform MIG welding and other welding processes to Australian Standards.

• Prepare materials for fabrication, including marking out, measuring, cutting and setting up components.

• Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and welding procedures.

• Conduct welding inspections and quality checks to ensure structural integrity and compliance.

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.

• Identify and report faults, defects and opportunities for process improvement.

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role, you will ideally demonstrate:

• Trade qualification as a Boilermaker/Fabricator.

What's on Offer?

• $53.75 - $60.00 per hour plus superannuation.

• Consistent 38-hour working week.

• Located at Richlands.

• Early finish every Friday! (Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am - 3:20 pm, Friday: 7:00 am - 1:00 pm.)

• Initially, this is a casual opportunity; however, for the right candidate, likely to transition to a permanent position.
