Job summary

Triton Environmental Consultants, Ltd. is seeking an experienced Fabricator to join the Service / Pre-Delivery Department. You will fabricate and fit-out high-quality components on new trucks in a modern workshop, delivering precise workmanship with safety in mind.

Responsibilities include repairing and modifying parts, fabricating/welding tasks, and producing detailed reports. A current driver’s licence is required, with HR/HC preferred.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications in Metal Fabrication, Welding, Body Building or a related trade.
• Trade related experience in automotive industry
• Workshop related experience preferred
• A commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines
• Current Driver’s Licence
• HR/HC Drivers Licence preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist with repair, manufacture or modify mechanical parts of trucks and trailers such as suspensions, chassis, and brackets
• Assist withfabrication / welding tasks – such as fitting of weight gauges, bumper bars, wheel base modification works, and the like
• Ensure all accessories requested on repair orders are fitted and completed
• Identify and advise of any additional work required
• Ensure work completed is checked and good quality
• Produce clear and concise report detailing all work carried out on repair orders including supplies used and recommendations in a prioritised order
• Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality and workmanship

We are currently seeking an experienced and trade-qualified Fabricator worker to join our Service / PreDelivery Department, where you'll play a key role in preparing and customising some of the best trucks on the market.

About the Role

Working in a modern, well-equipped workshop, you will be responsible for producing high-quality fabrication and fit-out work on new trucks prior to delivery. This is an engaging, hands-on role that offers diverse work and the opportunity to develop your skills across a range of tasks.

Key Responsibilities
