Job summary

KYK Fabrication in Carrum Downs is seeking a hands-on Boilermaker/Metal Fabricator to contribute to the manufacture and installation of high-end architectural projects. You will weld mild steel, aluminium and stainless, read drawings and fabricate custom steel stairs, balustrades and gates.

This role suits someone proud of workmanship, with experience in TIG welding and attention to detail. The position offers a workshop-based environment with occasional site work, competitive hourly rate based

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Boilermaker, Metal Fabricator or similar trade.
• Proven fabrication and welding experience.
• Experience with steel stair fabrication highly regarded.
• TIG welding experience.
• Ability to read and work accurately from fabrication drawings.
• Good understanding of measurements, angles and fabrication processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Current driver’s licence.

Working as part of our fabrication team, you will be involved in the manufacture and installation of a wide range of custom architectural projects. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who takes genuine pride in their workmanship and enjoys producing quality custom work.
