Job summary

SA Water is seeking a skilled Maintenance Fabrication Technician to help keep our infrastructure safe and efficient. Based at the South Para Reservoir, the role involves workshop work and site travel across metro and regional areas, carrying out maintenance, repairs, and installations on new and existing infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has strong trades skills, experience in planned and reactive maintenance, and a proactive approach to safety.

Qualifications

• Trade-level maintenance and repair experience.
• Ability to diagnose issues and implement solutions.
• Experience with aluminium and stainless steel fabrication is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Execute planned and reactive maintenance programs to maximise equipment uptime.
• Lead capital works programs for new and upgraded infrastructure.
• Coordinate with workshops and supervisors on schedules, costs, and scope variations.
