Job summary

Zeal Futures invites you to join Coastwide Engineering to complete a Certificate III Engineering - Fabrication trade over four years. You’ll work in a team to master fabrication, welding, cutting, and the setup of machines for large industrial equipment.

The apprenticeship expects teamwork, a solid mechanical grounding, and full commitment to the course and term. Applicants should be prepared for pre‑employment medicals, a White Card, and a valid provisional driver’s license.

• Demonstrated interest/passion in the trade.
• Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

Job description

You will join the team at Coastwide Engineering to complete a Certificate III Engineering - Fabrication trade over four years. Your duties will include:

• Use various hand and power tools
• Weld and cut various materials
• Fabricate large and diverse industrial equipment
• Mark out jobs, set up machines, prepare materials, tools and fixtures forfabricating
• Apply fabrication, forming and shaping techniques
• Assemble fabricated components

• Willingness to undergo pre employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
• Construction Industry White Card (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
• Valid Provisional Drivers Licence
