Job summary

Job description

Whilst studying a Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication working with Peabody Energy over 4 years, you’ll have the opportunity to work on:

• General maintenance on mining machinery/equipment/site
• Perform planned maintenance and breakdown repairs of diesel mining equipment
• Statutory maintenance compliance of equipment, maintenance scheduled and reports
• Service and repair equipment
• Assist in general duties that are within the limits of the skills, competence, and ability of an apprentice.

• Enjoy maintaining physical fitness.
• Ability to attend 8-week TAFE course commencing January 2027.

Must-haves -

• Current drivers licence (provisional or above)
• White Card
• Willingness to undergo a Coal Board Order 45 Medical, Functional, and Respirator Fit Test
