Job summary

Marlin Human Capital is partnering with a leading Australian energy infrastructure organisation to shape a Microsoft Fabric data-platform from design through build. You will provide independent architectural judgement, challenge designs, and guide governance to ensure a secure, scalable, production-ready platform.

A senior data architect with Fabric experience is required to lead reviews and stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

• Senior data architect with substantial Microsoft Fabric implementation experience.
• Experience across two or more Fabric deployments is preferred.
• Knowledge of Fabric tenant/workspace design, capacity, security and deployment constraints.
• Familiarity with medallion architecture, lakehouse and warehouse patterns, data products and lineage.

Responsibilities

• Independently review and assure vendor Microsoft Fabric architecture and design documentation.
• Assess platform designs for capacity, workspaces, security, deployment and operational readiness.
• Review data architecture, integration, quality and lineage, focusing on scalability and cost management.
• Identify design risks and provide practical governance recommendations.
