Job summary

Ampstek is seeking an experienced F5 Platforms Engineer to support design, deployment, migration, upgrade, automation, and operational management of F5 infrastructure across lab and production environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in F5 BIG-IP LTM/GTM, platform onboarding, migration activities, software lifecycle management, and network automation using Ansible.

• Strong expertise in F5 BIG-IP LTM/GTM (DNS) administration and engineering.
• Experience with platform onboarding and migration activities.
• Knowledge of software lifecycle management and automation tooling (Ansible).

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and deploy F5 R2800 appliances (LTM and GTM) in Lab and Production environments.
• Perform F5 software license expansion and capacity management.
• Upgrade F5 BIG-IP software for VM-based deployments (v17.5+).
• Lead and support legacy F5 migrations, including design, onboarding, testing and execution.
• Onboard and integrate Prepaid platforms onto F5 infrastructure.
• Assist with eSIM platform onboarding and related customization in collaboration with Services teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and deploy F5 R2800 appliances (LTM and GTM) in both Lab and Production environments.
• Perform F5 software license expansion and capacity management activities.
• Execute F5 BIG-IP software upgrades for VM-based deployments (version 17.5 and above).
• Lead and support legacy F5 migration projects, including solution design, onboarding, testing, and
• Onboard and integrate Prepaid platforms onto F5 infrastructure.
• Support eSIM platform onboarding, including customization activities in collaboration with F5 Professional
• Services teams.
• Manage the end-to-end change management process, including preparation of Change Requests, Method of Procedure (MOP) documents, implementation planning, and approval tracking.
• Perform platform maintenance, troubleshooting, and adhoc onboarding activities as required.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain Ansible automation scripts for F5 deployment, configuration, and operational activities.
