Job summary

RACV Noosa Resort in Queensland seeks an experienced Food & Beverage Team Leader to elevate guest experiences and uphold high service standards across outlets. You will lead by example, coach the team, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations in a busy resort environment.

Reporting to the F&B Supervisor, you will coordinate with kitchens, events, and bar teams, manage training, and handle guest interactions with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a food & beverage team leader in a 4–5 resort or similar environment.
• Certificate III or IV in hospitality (desirable).
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team, follow procedures and provide on‑the‑job training.
• Barista, food & beverage knowledge and skills.
• Knowledge of F&B procedures, service sequence, table settings, order taking, bookings, billing & POS experience.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, time management and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent personal presentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on leadership and ensure the team delivers a consistently high standard of customer service.
• Direct and assist F&B Attendants with daily duties to operate the outlet.
• Liaise between Management, kitchens, conference/events, bar and staff to prevent and resolve issues.
• Balance the float and end-of-day reports.
• Minimise breakages and wastage of food, beverage and consumables.
• Manage difficult situations including customer complaints and intoxicated guests.
• Ensure staff complete training requirements.
• Report hazards and risks to maintain a safe workplace.
• Perform physical duties including standing and heavy lifting.
