Job summary

Kingfisher Bay Resort, part of Journey Beyond, is seeking an experienced hospitality leader to head food and beverage operations across its resort outlets. You will guide a large team, ensuring outstanding service for guests and events, with opportunities to develop management skills within a major island destination on K’gari.

Applicants should have leadership experience in F&B, strong communication, and current qualifications (QLD RSA, Food Safety, RMLV).

Qualifications

• Experience leading food and beverage teams in resort settings.
• Strong customer service focus and ability to coach staff.
• Knowledge of restaurant, bar and event operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support team members during service across outlets.
• Create exceptional guest experiences through attentive service.
• Coach and develop staff on shift to maintain standards.
• Monitor service standards, presentation and stock levels.
