Job summary

OSS World Wide Movers in Brisbane is seeking an energetic External Relocation Consultant to own a local territory and drive international moves. You will meet clients in their homes, assess relocation requirements, prepare quotations and guide options through to booking and handover.

You’ll work with Move Management and Operations to ensure accurate handovers and a seamless experience for clients. A strong sales mindset, drive to build relationships and travel flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales, removals, international moving, relocation, logistics or another client-facing industry.
• International removals experience is highly regarded, but not essential.
• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• A current driver’s licence and the ability to travel to clients’ homes across the Brisbane region.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home surveys to assess relocation requirements and client needs.
• Prepare, negotiate and finalise accurate quotations in a timely manner.

OSS World Wide Movers is looking for a motivated, commercially minded External Relocation Consultant to join our Brisbane team.

About the Role

We are seeking an immediate start for a motivated, client-focused Relocation Consultant to join our Brisbane team on six-month contract or Permanent fulltime basis.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you’ll manage relocation opportunities from initial enquiry through to confirmed booking and operational handover. You’ll meet clients in their homes, understand their individual relocation requirements, assess what needs to be moved, prepare accurate quotations and guide them through their options.

You’ll also work closely with our Move Management and Operations teams to ensure every confirmed move is handed over accurately and smoothly.

This isn’t a desk-bound sales role. You’ll be out meeting clients, developing relationships, solving problems and turning enquiries into booked international moves.

As a key point of contact for our clients during the early stages of their relocation, you will play an integral role of setting expectations, providing confidence and delivering the service excellence that OSS is known for.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct in-home surveys to assess the Client’s relocation requirements, inventory and individual needs.

Prepare, negotiate and finalise accurate, competitive quotations in a timely manner.

Provide clear advice on relocation services, processes, timelines and expectations.

Work collaboratively with Move Management and Operations to ensure accurate information and seamless handovers.

About You

You’re confident, competitive and client-focused.

You enjoy winning business, but you also understand that great sales results come from listening, building trust and doing what you say you’re going to do.

You’re comfortable working independently, managing your own territory and pipeline, while still being part of a highly connected team.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

Experience in sales, removals, international moving, relocation, logistics or another client-facing industry.

International removals experience is highly regarded, but not essential.

Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.

A proactive approach to following up opportunities and closing business.

Excellent organisation and attention to detail.

The ability to manage multiple enquiries, quotations and deadlines.

Confidence working independently in the field.

A current driver’s licence and the ability to travel to clients’ homes across the greater Brisbane and Gold Coast regions.
