Job summary

City Electric Supply Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated External Account Manager to join our Edgeworth team. You will nurture key customer relationships across the electrical wholesale sector, drive sales growth, and ensure outstanding service.

In this full-time role, you will develop strategic account plans, collaborate with internal teams, and provide technical product support while contributing to branch targets and long-term business success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in sales, business development, or account management in electrical wholesale or related sectors.
• Proven ability to build strong customer relationships and achieve sales growth targets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating within a team.
• Current driver’s licence and ability to travel throughout the Newcastle region.

Responsibilities

• Manage, develop, and grow a portfolio of key customer accounts.
• Create and implement strategic account plans to increase sales, profitability, and customer engagement.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and provide technical product support and advice.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing and prospective customer networks.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience.
• Maintain accurate account records and provide regular reporting on customer performance and sales activity.
• Contribute to the achievement of branch sales objectives and broader business growth strategies.
