Job summary

Care Essentials, an Australian medical device manufacturer, seeks a Junior Accountant to coordinate export orders and support related accounting tasks. You will manage orders from placement to delivery and collaborate with shipping agents to prepare export documentation.

We value strong written and verbal communication, good organization, and a diploma or degree in accounting or commerce. Experience with ERP systems like Microsoft Dynamics or MYOB is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or commerce.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Good administrative and planning skills.
• Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or MYOB is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage export customer base from order processing to delivery.
• Process orders in the ERP system, ensuring correct pricing and payment terms.
• Obtain freight quotes from freight companies.
• Communicate with customers on payments, delivery dates, freight quotes, updates and issues.
• Prepare export documentation and liaise with shipping agents.
• Track shipments and update customers on status and clearance issues.
• Perform accounting tasks for related subsidiaries.
