Busy sheetmetal company requires experienced sheet metal workers and laggers for immediate start.

Brisbane based and away work.

Interpret Blueprints: Read and analyze technical drawings to plan layouts, calculate dimensions, and estimate required materials.

Layout and Measure: Measure, calculate, and mark reference lines on metal sheets using specialized formulas, templates, and measuring tools.

Cut and Form Metal: Use hand shears, power shears, plasma cutters, and computer-controlled (CNC) lasers or presses to cut and bend metal into precise shapes.

Assemble Components: Join metal pieces together using various techniques, including welding, riveting, soldering, bolting, or specialized interlocking seams.

Install on Site: Secure finished products into buildings or structures. This includes hanging ductwork, fitting roofing panels, and securing architectural cladding.

Inspect and Finish: Use grinding and buffing tools to smooth out rough edges, inspect joints for leaks, and ensure all installations meet strict building codes.
