Ecopainters Pty Ltd is seeking a Professional Painter for a permanent, full-time position in Brisbane. The role involves painting interior and exterior commercial sites, surface preparation, and colour matching, with regional travel as needed.

Applicants should be a qualified tradesman painter with Certificate III in Painting and Decorating and a minimum of 2 years’ experience. Salary is circa AU$79,423–AU$80,000 plus superannuation.

• English speaking and articulate for client and team communication.

Responsabilités

• Paint interior and exterior commercial sites as directed by the supervisor.
• Prepare surfaces by filling holes, stripping, sanding and sealing.
• Inspect surfaces to be painted and ensure quality standards.
• Clean equipment and work areas to maintain a tidy site.
• Prepare and apply paint using brushes, rollers or spray guns.
• Apply undercoats, enamel, varnish or stain and match colours as needed.
• Mix paints and manage paint materials for the project.
• Supervise painting processes and maintain records.
• Ensure health and safety requirements are met at each site.

Job Description

ecopainters Experienced Painter Permanent full-time position 38 hours per week Salary: $79,423 to 80,000 per year plus superannuation Brisbane based with regular regional travel Ecopainters PTY is looking for a Professional Painter to join our team. We are looking for a self-motivated, English speaking, articulate person to fill the role of Painter within our company. Your duties will include:

• Responsible for painting of interior and exterior commercial sites as directed by the project supervisor;
• Responsible for preparing surfaces for painting, including filling holes, paint stripping, sanding, repairing woodwork, removing old paint or wallpaper, and sealing surfaces;
• Inspecting surfaces to be painted;
• Responsible for cleaning equipment, work areas and any splatters that may have resulted while painting;
• Prepare and apply paint, using brushes, rollers or spray guns to apply the paint to the surface;
• Apply undercoats, oil based, gloss enamel, varnish or stain, and low sheen acrylic to surfaces using brushes, rollers and spraying;
• Responsible for mixing paint and colour matching for the project;
• Manage required paint materials for the project;
• Supervising the painting process and maintaining records, making sure the work meets standards;
• Responsible for ensuring health and safety requirements are met at each jobsite.

The successful applicant will need to be a qualified tradesman painter and hold Certificate III in Painting and Decorating. The successful applicant will also have a minimum of 2 years’ work experience as a professional painter. Benefits Task & responsibilities Qualification & experience
