Job summary

The Y NSW is seeking an Experienced OSHC Educator to deliver high-quality programs for school-aged children in an Outside School Hours Care setting. You will plan, implement and review activities to support social, emotional, and developmental growth within a safe, inclusive environment.

You will work within the framework of NQF and My Time, Our Place, collaborating with colleagues and families, and contributing to safeguarding and quality improvement across the service.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate III in School Age Education and Care (Diploma preferred).
• Demonstrated experience in OSHC or a similar school-aged care setting.
• Sound knowledge of NQF, NQS and My Time, Our Place framework.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement and evaluate age-appropriate programs for school-aged children.
• Foster positive, respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Ensure safety and supervision of all children at all times.
• Maintain accurate documentation including observations and attendance records.
• Collaborate with team and contribute to service quality improvements.
• Communicate with families about children's progress and daily experiences.
