Job summary

Lantern Regional Services PTY LTD – Bathurst NSW is seeking energetic Support Workers for Residential and Community Participation roles. Casual positions with potential to move to permanent part-time.

You will support customers at home and in the community, with a 24/7 roster and range of shifts including overnights. Applicants should have Cert III Disability or similar, First Aid/CPR, NDISWCheck or willingness to apply, WWCC, and a valid Australian driver’s license.

Support Worker - Supported Independent Living & Community Participation

Lantern Regional Services is a Disability Service Provider seeking enthusiastic and passionate individuals to fill their Residential Support Worker & Community Participation positions in Bathurst for immediate start.

Positions are casual with the option of moving to PPT. In this role you will be working independently and/or within a team to support our customers in their home and out in the community.

We are looking for people with an energetic personality, who have good values and can deliver true personal centred supports and who have the flexibility to be available to support our clients on a 24/7 Roster.Applicants MUST be available for a range of shifts including overnights, weekend and weekday shifts.

Currently hiring to fill rosters with a mixture of weekday day shifts, evening and overnight shifts as well as weekend day and night shift (Inactive supports for overnights). Applicants need only apply with availability to complete a range of shifts.

Key Qualities and Skills required for theseroles include;

• Experience in supporting people who display behaviours of concern
• Experience in providing personal care supports
• Ability to work a range of days, afternoons, nights and weekend shifts (Please do not apply if you do not have the flexibility to work a range of shifts)
• Full Australian working rights
• Current First Aid Certificate and valid CPR
• Valid NDIS Worker Check (NDISWC) or willing to apply
• WWCC
• Must have an Australian driver's license (And able to provde 100 points of ID)
• Experience working with people with a disability or lived experience.
• Confident in using the latest technology/Data collection and report writing
• Availability and flexibility to work shift work with availability as per above details
• A minimum Cert III Disability or similar qualifications

• Solid understanding of the importance of supporting participants towards their goals
• Flexibility to work across a 24 hour roster with availability for weekdays, weekends and night shifts
