Job summary

CMW Geosciences in Perth is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist with 4–10 years of site investigation experience. You will contribute to projects ranging from inner-city buildings to remote energy sites and be part of a team delivering quality geotechnical investigations and design advice.

The role offers flexible start/finish times, a 9-day fortnight, and opportunities for professional development within a strong technical team based at our Perth office.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Science required
• 4–10 years' consultancy/geotechnical experience
• On-site exposure to projects
• Experience with proposal preparation and technical report writing
• Full Australian driver’s licence
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to travel for projects

We are hard-working, down-to-earth, and passionate engineers and geologists who provide quality geotechnical site investigation, analysis, and design advice to the construction infrastructure and energy sectors.

Our Perth-based site investigation team is looking to bring on a Geotechnical Engineer or Engineering Geologist who is experiencedin site investigation work and CPS works. You would be working on projects ranging from inner city buildings and infrastructure to remote green field projects in the energy space. We are considering professionals with 4 to 10 years of experience who can hit the ground running.

What You'll Need

• A Civil Engineering, Geology or Earth Science Degree
• 4-10 years' experience e.g. as part of a consultancy / geotechnical consultancy.
• On-site experience
• Previous exposure to proposal preparation and technical report writing
• A full Australian drivers license
• Good interpersonal skills
• Exceptional organisation and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to travel for projects when required
