Job summary

AFlash Fire is seeking an experienced Sprinkler Fitter to join our Sydney team, with a primary focus on new construction projects.

You’ll install sprinkler pipework, read drawings, and coordinate with builders and trades to deliver safe, high‑quality installations.

Requirements include relevant trade qualifications and licences, proven installation experience on new builds, a valid driver’s licence, Construction White Card, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Relevant trade qualifications and licences for sprinkler fitting work.
• Proven experience installing fire sprinkler systems on new construction projects.
• Confidence reading drawings and setting out work accurately.
• Understanding of installation standards, including AS 2118.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a site team.
• Current driver’s licence and Construction White Card.
• Reliability, good communication and pride in workmanship.
• EWP and working at heights qualifications will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Installing sprinkler pipework, fittings, valves, supports and sprinkler heads.

• Setting out installations and coordinating pipework with other building services.
• Identifying clashes and raising site issues early.
• Carrying out pressure testing, flushing and assisting with commissioning and handover.
• Keeping accurate records of progress and installation changes.
• Following site safety requirements and maintaining a tidy work area.

About the role

You’ll carry out fire sprinkler and hydrant system installation works on construction sites, working with our team, builders and other trades to deliver projects safely and to a high standard.
