Burly Holdings is seeking an experienced estimator to price large commercial landscaping projects and prepare detailed tender submissions. You will review drawings and specifications, obtain supplier pricing, and build budget sheets covering labour, materials, plant and subcontractors.

The role requires independent work from tender through to completion, with a focus on identifying risks and opportunities and helping the delivery team manage costs.

Burly Holdings is seeking an experienced estimator with a strong background in large commercial landscaping projects.

We need someone who can hit the ground running - confidently pricing projects, preparing detailed budgets and helping our delivery team track costs from tender through to completion.

The role

Prepare detailed estimates and tender submissions for commercial landscaping projects.

Review drawings, specifications and tender documents, including quantity take-offs.

Obtain and assess supplier and subcontractor pricing.

Prepare project budget sheets covering labour, materials, plant and subcontractors.

Identify scope gaps, exclusions, risks and opportunities before submitting tenders.

Work with project managers to track actual costs against budgets and price variations.

Provide clear handovers so the delivery team understands the scope, allowances and budget.

What we're looking for

Strong knowledge of landscape construction methods, materials, productivity and costs.

Excellent spreadsheet, budgeting and cost-tracking skills.

Attention to detail and the ability to manage competing tender deadlines.

The experience and confidence to work independently and contribute from day one.
