Job summary

New Creation Print in Mulgrave, Victoria, seeks an experienced Digital Print & Finishing Operator to own the digital production area. You will run jobs on Ricoh production equipment, manage priorities, calibrate equipment and supervise finishing, ensuring smooth workflow through production.

The ideal candidate has proven digital print experience in a commercial environment, confidence using internal MIS and production systems, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently

Experienced Digital Print & Finishing Operator

New Creation Print is looking for an experienced Digital Print & Finishing Operator to join our production team. You will take ownership of the digital production area — from running jobs on Ricoh production equipment through to finishing, managing priorities, maintaining stock levels and ensuring work moves efficiently through production. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for an experienced operator who is organised, reliable and comfortable working independently without needing constant direction.

Key responsibilities

Setting up and producing digital print jobs accurately and efficiently

Monitoring print quality, colour and registration throughout production

Performing routine calibration, maintenance and troubleshooting

Operating Horizon finishing equipment

Taking digital jobs through printing and finishing wherever practical

About you

Previous experience as a Digital Print Operator in a commercial printing environment

Experience with Horizon finishing equipment

Strong attention to detail

Good mechanical and troubleshooting ability
