Job summary

Balgowlah RSL Memorial Club is seeking a capable kitchen team member to support the bistro, pizza and fine dining kitchens in Sydney. You will work across different sections and maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Applicants should have proven kitchen experience, strong communication skills and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to liaise with chefs and front-of-house staff to keep service running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in kitchen operations.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Attention to detail and adherence to safety.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the operation of the kitchen
• Maintain clenliness and food safety standards in all work areas and equipment
• Maintaining stock at correct levels
• Minimising wastage at both preparation and service stages
• Liaising with Executive Chef/Sous Chef and other staff ie; kitchen-hands, waiting staff
• Any other duties as directed by the Management
• Adherence to the Club's Work, Health and Safety policies and procedures
• Keep uniforms clean and tidy, ensuring that a clean uniform is worn on each shift
