Job summary

Elysium Restaurant & Bar in Victoria Point, QLD is seeking a qualified chef to join our fast-paced kitchen team. You will prepare and cook dishes to high standards, maintain a clean station, and contribute to menu development.

The role is full-time (38 hours per week) with nights and weekend shifts; previous commercial kitchen experience required; applicants should be passionate about quality Australian cuisine and working in a lively hospitality setting.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard.

Prep, set up and break down kitchen.

Learn and implement new cooking techniques, contributing to the development of new dishes.

Deliver dishes that meet our specifications and standards.

Maintain a clean and organised workplace, taking pride in your environment.

Key Requirements

Qualified Chef/Cook with a minimum of 1 year experience on pans, grills and ovens.

Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Keen eye for detail and a genuine passion for food.

The successful candidate must be able to work a rotating roster including nights and weekends.

This is a full time 38 hour position and we are looking for someone who taking the next step in their career in a long term and supportive role.
