Bakers Delight Chelsea Heights is hiring experienced Bakers to join a brand-new team for a store opening in December 2026. There are full-time and part-time roles available, with opportunities to contribute from day one and help establish a high-performing production team in a busy bakery.

Ideal applicants have proven bakery experience, strong dough skills, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment. The role requires early shifts and weekend availability to support a busy production

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Baker in a commercial bakery.
• Strong dough-making, moulding and/or oven skills.
• Excellent time management and organisational abilities.
• Reliable, punctual and capable of working in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, mix, mould and bake a range of freshly baked products.
• Dough making and oven work to standard Bakers Delight procedures.
• Maintain high product quality and food safety standards.
• Follow production schedules and meet daily targets.
• Assist with stock control and stocktakes as required.
• Support team members to maintain a positive work environment.

About the role

At Bakers Delight, our Bakers are responsible for:

• Preparing, mixing, moulding and baking our range of freshly baked products
• Dough making and oven work
• Producing consistently high-quality products to Bakers Delight standards
• Following production schedules and meeting daily production targets
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness and WHS
• Assisting with stock control, ordering and stocktakes
• Managing wastage and maintaining efficient production practices
• Supporting fellow team members and contributing to a positive team environment

What we're looking for

The ideal candidates will possess:

• Proven experience working as a Baker in a commercial bakery
• Formal baking qualifications (highly regarded)
• Previous Bakers Delight experience (a significant advantage)
• Strong dough-making, moulding and/or oven skills
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• A strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Reliability, punctuality and a positive, can-do attitude
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work early mornings and a rotating roster, including weekends
• Reliable transport

We're particularly interested in experienced Bakers who can work confidently and independently, maintain high production standards and contribute positively to the team.
