Job summary

Youngs Ag Contracting Pty Ltd is seeking an Experienced Agricultural Equipment Operator to operate tractors with implements, trailers, oversize equipment and trucks across multiple sites. You will manage the safe removal and spreading of effluent and assist with maintenance and transport of machinery.

Opportunity for 12-hour shifts, overtime, and working away as required. A Heavy Combination Licence is essential and a proactive, team-oriented approach is expected.

Qualifications

• Heavy Combination Licence (essential).
• Experience with heavy agricultural equipment.
• Ability to work alone confidently and efficiently.
• Ability to work within a team environment.
• Mechanical understanding and pride in equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate state-of-the-art tractors, tankers and pumping equipment for removal and spreading of effluent.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, cleaning and transport between sites.
• Operate trailers, oversize equipment, trucks and related implements.
• Maintain safe operating practices and equipment condition.
• Adapt to varying day/night shifts and locations as required.

Experienced Agricultural Equipment Operator

LOCATION: Differing locations branching from South Burnett,Western Downs, Darling Downs, Gympie Region &West. With the nature of this industry, location is subject to change.

POSITION

Hours differ dependent on job requirements. 12 hour shifts with varying day & night shifts are to be expected with an opportunity for overtime.

WHAT WE OFFER

• Minimum annual salary of $120,000
• Meal allowance & room supplied while working away.
• Company Vehicle may be provided in some circumstances.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Weare looking for qualified individuals who have experience in operating tractors (with implements), trailers, oversize equipment, trucks, multi- combination loads etc.

The role involves operating state-of-the-art tractors, tankers & pumping equipment that specialize in the safe & efficient removal & spreading of effluent. Additionally, assisting with equipment maintenance, cleaning, & transporting machinery between job sites is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES, REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE:

• Heavy Combination Licence (essential) – Multi Combination preferred.
• Pilot/ escort license would be helpful, but not required.
• Experience with heavy agricultural equipment
• Ability to work alone confidently & efficiently
