Job summary

Staff 360 is seeking experienced Tractor Drivers for a busy hay contracting operation spanning southern Queensland, NSW and Victoria. Start: September 2026. You will operate a mix of machinery across the contracting run, with a full crew formed by October.

Accommodation is provided at every site as you move through the three states. The role requires solid tractor operating experience and a willingness to work 12-14 hour days during the season, with travel as the run progresses.

Qualifications

• Solid tractor operating experience, ideally with mowing, raking, and/or baling equipment.
• Willing to work 12-14 hour days during the season and travel as the run progresses.
• Current, clean and open driving licence — essential.
• Own vehicle preferred but not essential.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate windrowers fitted with mower conditioners.
• Operate 300hp Massey Ferguson and Fendt tractors.
• Operate Krone triple mower combinations and quad rakes.
• Operate Krone BigPack HD balers.

Staff 360 is recruiting experienced Tractor Drivers for a busy hay contracting operation running a modern fleet across southern Queensland, NSW, and Victoria this coming season.
This is a great opportunity for operators looking for an extended season and enjoy travelling with a crew and working on well-maintained, late-model machinery.

The Role
You'll be operating a mix of the following equipment across the contracting run:

• Windrowers fitted with mower conditioners
• 300hp Massey Ferguson and Fendt tractors
• Krone triple mower combinations and quad rakes
• Krone BigPack HD balers

The Run

• Team building progressively through September, with a full crew by early October
• Working from southern QLD, acrossNSW, andVictoria
• Season wraps up January/February 2027
• Accommodation provided at every site — typically motels, hotels, or pubs

What We’re Looking For

• Solid tractor operating experience, ideally with mowing, raking, and/or baling equipment
• Comfortable working 12-14hr days during the season and travelling as the run progresses
• Current, clean and open driving licence — essential
• Own vehicle preferred but not essential
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work well as part of a team
