Job summary

The Explore Life is seeking an Experienced Ad Creative and Social Media Content Creator to join our team. You will shoot, edit and strategize content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube, while capturing behind-the-scenes moments across our warehouse, office and events.

You will work closely with the founders and broader team to ideate, execute shoots and deliver compelling content that resonates with audiences.

Qualifications

• Experience creating content for social media, especially short-form video.
• Strong shooting and editing skills.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Solid understanding of Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
• Knowledge of trends, hooks and audience retention.

Experienced Ad Creative and Social Media Content Creator

You’ll work closely with the founders and wider team to create and manage content across The Explore Life. This role combines shooting, editing, ideation and strategic thinking. You’ll spot stories, develop content ideas, execute shoots and understand what resonates with audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Shooting and editing short-form and long-form content for social media, ad platforms & website use
• Capturing day-to-day behind-the-scenes content across the warehouse, office, trips, products and team
• Developing content ideas and recurring content formats
• Planning and coordinating shoots from concept through to delivery
• Working directly with founders to create founder-led content
• Organising & Coordinating Content Shoots
• Working with UGC creators, brand ambassadors and other talent
• Keeping up with emerging social trends, formats and creators, and identifying opportunities early
• Creating content for both organic social and paid advertising (both image & video)
• Repurposing content across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and YouTube
• Work collaboratively to manage content calendars, shoots and deadlines

About you

• Experience creating content for social media, particularly short-form video
• Strong shooting and editing skills
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator
• A strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
• An understanding of trends, hooks, retention and what makes people stop scrolling
• A good eye for storytelling, composition and visual quality
• Experience working with UGC creators, influencers or brand ambassadors
• Ability to plan and coordinate shoots
• An understanding of social analytics and performance
• Strong communication and organisational skills
