Job summary

Warrnambool city council is seeking an organised Exhibitions and Operations Coordinator to join our team in a 0.8 FTE temporary role through to 2 July 2026. Working with the Gallery Director and key staff, you will help deliver exhibitions, public programs, and day-to-day gallery operations in a dynamic cultural setting.

The role suits someone with a background in visual arts, galleries, museums or the cultural sector, who enjoys coordinating multiple projects and ensuring practical exhibition

Qualifications

• Experience in the visual arts, galleries, museums or cultural sector.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects and working collaboratively.
• Ability to manage the practical details behind exhibitions and programs to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of the gallery’s exhibitions, public programs, collections and day-to-day operations.
• Work closely with the Gallery Director, Curators, Education Officer and Front of House Coordinator to coordinate activities.
