Job summary

The ideal candidate will have sound knowledge of visual arts, gallery experience, strong customer service skills with diverse audiences, teamwork, time management, and basic IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Creative.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of the visual arts with emphasis on exhibition install/demount and public programs.
• Experience in a gallery, museum or arts organisation.
• Strong customer service skills with diverse audiences.
• Ability to work as part of a team to deliver gallery/community outcomes.
• Good problem-solving and time management abilities.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Creative.
• Current Queensland C-class driver’s licence.
• Ability to obtain a Blue Card for Working with Children.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to Gallery patrons.
• Support exhibition install/dismount and collection processes.
• Assist with public program delivery and cross-Council collaboration.
