Job summary

Adelaide University is seeking a creative Exhibitions and Experience Designer (HEO6) to develop exhibitions and programs by generating ideas, researching themes, and contributing to the selection and design of exhibits that communicate science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and complex research to the public.

Reporting to the Manager, Exhibitions and Experience Design, you will work with AU academics and external partners to create engaging experiences, manage timelines and budgets, and

Qualifications

• Proven ability delivering complex creative projects on time, to budget, and to a high quality.
• Proven ability in strong analytical and research skills, with excellent writing and editing abilities.
• Proven ability to network and communicate with diverse stakeholders from a range of cultural backgrounds.
• Experience working cooperatively with people at various organisational levels.
• Experience in graphic design, visual communication, or exhibition design, with knowledge of relevant technologies and software development for public projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop exhibitions and programs by generating ideas and researching themes.
• Contribute to selection and design of exhibits that communicate STEM and research to the public.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to realise engaging experiences.
