Job summary

The University of Adelaide is seeking a creative Exhibitions and Experience Design professional based at City West Campus. This full-time continuing role reports to the Manager, Exhibitions and Experience Design and will develop exhibitions and programs by generating ideas, researching themes, and contributing to the design of exhibits that communicate STEM to the public.

You will collaborate with internal stakeholders including the MOD Team, AU academics, and external partners such as Youth

Qualifications

• Proven ability delivering complex creative projects on time, to budget, and to a high quality.
• Strong analytical and research skills, with excellent writing and editing abilities.
• Ability to network and communicate with diverse stakeholders from various cultural backgrounds.
• Experience working cooperatively with people at various organisational levels.
• Experience in graphic design, visual communication or exhibition design, with knowledge of relevant technologies and software development.

Responsibilities

• Develop exhibitions and programs by generating ideas, researching themes, and contributing to exhibit design that communicates STEM to the public.
• Collaborate with MOD Team, AU academics and external partners like Youth Board, artists, designers and developers.
• Assist in selecting and designing exhibits that convey complex research to public audiences.
• Work with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver digital or technology-related public projects.
• Support writing, editing and publication of exhibition content for diverse audiences.
