Job summary

The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is seeking a Project Manager to support the delivery of construction projects, coordinating stakeholders, managing risk and driving continuous improvements. You will lead cross‑disciplinary teams across exhibitions, installations and infrastructure, ensuring programs stay on time and within budget.

Reporting to the Senior Design Coordinator, you will develop project plans, monitor progress, manage consultants and contractors, and ensure compliance with OHS

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in project management, building or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of construction project management experience.
• Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams and consultants.

Responsibilities

• Defining and managing project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, budgets and resourcing.
• Mentoring staff and building capability through clear role definitions and performance feedback.
• Leading day‑to‑day project delivery, coordinating site schedules and approvals.
• Overseeing project financial management, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
