Job summary

National Gallery of Victoria – Melbourne VIC is seeking a Project Manager to support the delivery of construction projects, coordinating stakeholders, managing risk and driving continuous improvements.

You will be responsible for supporting the Senior Design Coordinator and Exhibition Design team to deliver projects, including managing consultants and construction phases across exhibitions, installations, events and infrastructure projects of varying scale and complexity.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in project management, building or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of industry experience in construction project management.
• Proven budgeting, scheduling and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and manage project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, budgets and resources.
• Manage, mentor and develop staff with clear role definitions and performance feedback.
• Lead day-to-day project delivery, coordinate site schedules and approvals through fabrication/construction stages.
• Oversee project financial management including budgeting, forecasting, procurement and cost reporting.
