Job summary

Burnie Brae is seeking an Accredited Exercise Physiologist to deliver evidence-based services at our Chermside clinic and client homes, mainly supporting older adults and people with chronic conditions.

You'll join a multidisciplinary team, delivering hydrotherapy, group classes, and tailored programs across funding streams and private services. New graduates are welcome to apply and grow with us in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology and ESSA accreditation as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist.
• Interest in supporting older adults and people living with disability or chronic conditions.
• Strong communication skills and an empathetic, respectful approach.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based exercise physiology services including hydrotherapy and group classes.
• Complete assessments, develop individualized exercise programs and review progress.
• Facilitate community exercise classes and clinical groups (cardiopulmonary rehab, falls prevention).
• Deliver care across CHSP/SAH, NDIS, DVA, Medicare and private services, with proper documentation.
• Coordinate with colleagues to support meaningful client outcomes and maintain records.
