Job summary

Proactive Health is seeking an Accredited Exercise Physiologist for Mackay clinics. You will deliver person-centred exercise programs, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team and manage a diverse caseload including DVA, EPC, NDIS, Home Care and workers' compensation.

Qualifications

ESSA accreditation or eligibility.
Accredited Exercise Physiologist in Australia.
Current indemnity and public liability insurance.
Valid Australian driver’s licence.
National Police Check and state screenings as applicable.
Strong clinical reasoning and program design skills.
Ability to work independently in community settings.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough initial assessments including functional testing and health screening.
Design and deliver individualized, evidence-based exercise programs across clinic, gym, home and community settings.
Manage a mixed caseload including DVA, EPC, NDIS, Home Care, workers’ compensation and private clients.
Run individual and small group exercise sessions tailored to clinical needs.
Collaborate with physiotherapists, podiatrists, OTs, dietitians and GPs as part of multidisciplinary care.
Monitor progress, adjust programs and support meaningful health outcomes.
Maintain high-quality clinical documentation in line with ESSA standards and governance.
