Job summary

BlueCare in Maryborough is seeking an Exercise Physiologist to support clients across centre-based and home visits, developing programs that improve mobility, independence and wellbeing. You’ll work with a multidisciplinary team and manage your own caseload with supported supervision.

New graduates are welcomed. You’ll receive mentoring from senior staff, a flexible schedule, and access to a fully equipped clinic in Maryborough with a collaborative, values-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology + ESSA Accreditation – Essential
• Strong assessment, treatment and communication skills
• Experience or interest in aged care and chronic disease management
• Ability to run group exercise classes

Responsibilities

• Support from an Exercise Physiology Lead & Clinical Coordinators
• Mentoring for new graduates and clinicians with 3+ years' experience
• Flexibility in days/hours
• Grow community and private caseloads, and run group programs
• Involvement in multi-disciplinary team meetings, education and student supervision
• Strong induction program with ongoing supervision
• Fully equipped gym and consultation rooms located in Maryborough
