Job summary

Omega Medical is seeking an Accredited Exercise Physiologist to join our Sunbury, VIC team. You will deliver evidence-based exercise programs across clinic, community and home-based settings, working within a genuine multidisciplinary environment.

Whether you are a new graduate or an experienced EP, you will receive structured clinical support, mentorship and ample development opportunities within a national allied health network.

Qualifications

• ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist (or eligible).
• Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology required.
• Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and functional evaluations.
• Develop and deliver individualised exercise programs.
• Provide one-on-one and small group exercise interventions.
• Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans.
• Collaborate closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, podiatrists, dietitians and other health professionals.
• Complete high-quality clinical documentation.
• Educate clients on self-management, injury prevention and long-term health outcomes.

The Role

You'll manage a varied caseload across:

• DVA


• Medicare (EPC)


• NDIS


• Home Care Packages


• Workers Compensation


• Private clients

Your work will include clinic, community and home-based services, allowing you to build broad clinical skills while making a meaningful difference to your clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and functional evaluations

About You

You will have:

• ESSA Accredited Exercise Physiologist (or eligibility)


• Relevant tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology


• Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle


• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Highly Regarded

• Experience with DVA, NDIS, Medicare or Home Care clients


• Private practice or community health experience


• Interest in chronic disease management, rehabilitation, pain management or healthy ageing


• Experience delivering group exercise programs
