Job summary

BlueCare within UnitingCare Queensland is seeking an Exercise Physiologist to support clients’ mobility and wellbeing in Maryborough. You will work across clinic and home visits, tailoring programs and managing your own caseload with supportive supervision.

You will collaborate with physiotherapists, OTs, dietitians and other allied health staff, with a strong focus on high-quality documentation and group exercise delivery. New graduates welcome.

Qualifications

• Degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology + ESSA Accreditation is essential.
• Experience or interest in aged care and chronic disease management.
• Ability to run group exercise classes.
• Strong assessment, treatment and communication skills.
• Effective time-management and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support clients to improve mobility, independence and wellbeing.
• Work across centre-based and home-visit services with a caseload.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals.
• Manage own caseload with realistic productivity expectations.
• Contribute to education, supervision and group programs.
