Job summary

BlueCare is hiring a Physiotherapist in Maryborough/Hervey Bay to deliver holistic, integrated care that maintains mobility and independence for clients in the community. You’ll diagnose, plan and tailor treatments, working with GPs and therapists to implement care plans, improve movement and quality of life.

This permanent full-time role requires AHPRA registration, a current CPR/First Aid cert, a valid driver’s licence, and a vehicle with insurance.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications and current AHPRA registration.
• Experience in an aged care or community setting.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships.
• Good time-management and clinical problem-solving abilities.
• Current Australian driver’s licence and a roadworthy vehicle with insurance.
• Ability to pass probity checks as required by policy.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, assess and develop care plans for individuals and groups.
• Prescribe and select appropriate adaptive equipment and modifications.
• Educate and train clients and carers on therapy aspects.
• Set goals and manage discharge planning.
