This is an onsite and community-based role , a work-from-home option isn't available, as the role requires direct client contact, active supervision and use of clinical facilities and equipment.

Your role will include:
Creating and delivering functional exercise and skill development programs tailored to client goals, across all ages.
Completing assessments and ongoing reviews using objective outcome measures.
Delivering therapy across disability, rehabilitation and chronic condition management.
Supporting hydrotherapy sessions for rehabilitation, exercise and wellbeing.
Developing programs to improve strength, mobility, balance and functional independence.
Recommending and supporting equipment prescription and trials where appropriate.
Collaborating with families, support coordinators and multidisciplinary team members.
Providing education to clients and support networks to support long-term outcomes.
Monitoring progress and adjusting programs to ensure goal achievement.
Working within an average of six billable hours per day, supported by strong administrative systems so your time stays focused on clients.

To launch successfully into this role, you'll have:
2+ years exercise physiology experience.
Experience working within the NDIS or community-based settings (preferred).
A degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science or equivalent, with a Master's/graduate diploma in exercise physiology.
Full membership of Exercise & Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
Eligibility for a Medicare provider number.
Professional indemnity insurance cover of $20,000,000 per claim.
Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
Current Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening.
Current open Queensland driver's licence and access to a reliable private vehicle.
Current Influenza and Hepatitis B vaccinations.
Applicants must hold full and unrestricted Australian working rights, and a satisfactory National Police Check will be required before commencement.
You're a team player who works well with clinicians, support workers and administrative staff. You have strong communication skills and enjoy building relationships with clients and their support networks.
