Job summary

GaP Solutions, part of the Banyan Software group, seeks an executive-level Product Owner to bridge customer needs, commercial objectives and technology strategy across Australia and New Zealand retail tech. You will shape product direction, engage major customers and guide engineering teams to deliver measurable business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Product Management, Ownership, or Software Delivery leadership.
• Strong experience in grocery retail, supermarket, POS, ERP or retail tech environments.
• Proven track record managing complex product roadmaps and stakeholder groups.
• Deep understanding of APIs, integrations, data flows and enterprise software delivery.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills.
• Experience working with Agile delivery teams and modern software development practices.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the product backlog and delivery priorities aligned to business strategy.
• Influence product investment decisions and roadmap direction.
• Balance customer value, revenue opportunities, technical debt and platform modernization.
• Lead product discovery and business analysis initiatives.
• Build trusted relationships with key retailers, industry partners and stakeholders.
• Translate operational retail challenges into scalable product solutions.
• Drive customer-focused innovation across POS, inventory, replenishment, loyalty and reporting systems.
• Act as a senior product representative across customer and commercial engagements.
