Job summary

Banyan Software is seeking a Chief Product and Technology Officer (CPTO) to lead GaP Solutions in Adelaide, driving growth across cloud-based POS software, payments infrastructure, and analytics. You will build teams, define end-to-end product and technology strategy, and partner with executives to shape market-leading platforms for merchants and partners in the region.

The role reports to the CEO and blends strategic vision with hands‑on leadership, embedding Agile, DevOps, and PCI‑DSS security

Qualifications

Senior product and technology leadership experience at CPTO/CTO/CPO level in POS/fintech/SaaS.
Proven track record scaling product and engineering teams with quality and velocity.
Strong understanding of software architecture, cloud platforms, and payments ecosystems including PCI‑DSS.

Responsibilities

Lead the unified Product and Technology vision spanning core POS, payments, cloud, and data platforms.
Lead the product roadmap translating customer needs into a clear, prioritized plan including APIs and integrations.
Drive AI and data foundations across data platforms, analytics, and generative AI.
Shape engineering excellence across cloud-native platforms, in-store apps, and payment systems with DevOps and CI/CD.
Elevate quality and reliability with QA/testing and PCI‑DSS compliance.
Champion customer experience with self-service tools and AI-assisted support.
Secure the platform with cloud infrastructure, data protection, and business continuity.
Collaborate with CEO and Head of Sales to position GaP in the market.
