Banyan Software's GaP Solutions in Adelaide, South Australia, is seeking a Chief Product and Technology Officer to lead its next chapter of growth, innovation, and platform evolution.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape the end-to-end product and technology strategy for cloud POS, payments, data platforms, analytics, and AI, while building the teams, processes, and culture to bring the vision to life.

Qualifications

• Senior product/tech leadership experience (CPTO/CTO/CPO or equivalent) in POS, fintech, payments or SaaS.
• Proven track record scaling product and engineering teams while maintaining quality and velocity.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, cloud platforms, and payments ecosystems incl. PCI‑DSS.
• Experience across the full product lifecycle from discovery to engineering, QA and support.
• Customer‑centric mindset with data‑driven product culture.
• Experience delivering AI/ML and analytics‑driven product innovation.
• Exceptional leadership and executive‑level communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead unified Product and Technology vision spanning POS software, payments, cloud infrastructure and data platforms.
• Own the product roadmap translating customer needs and market opportunities into a clear plan.
• Drive AI and data foundations—AI strategy across code, data platforms and analytics.
• Shape engineering excellence across cloud‑native platforms, mobile/in‑store apps and payment systems.
• Elevate quality with QA/testing frameworks and PCI‑DSS/data privacy compliance.
• Champion customer experience with self‑service tools and AI‑augmented support.
• Secure the platform with cloud infrastructure, security and business continuity.
• Partner with CEO and Head of Sales to align market positioning and roadmap priorities.
